About me
My name is Lauren, and I received my Masters of Divinity at Emory University after double majoring in Film and Religious Studies (long story). In California, I served two small churches as an interim pastor and worked as a hospital chaplain.
To me, religion is a language describing what cannot be put into words. Whether you "speak" Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, agnostic or don't believe in a higher power at all, loss is a deeply spiritual experience. Often, pet grief feels that way. Maybe we can find the words together.

Me and Olivia, my first "all mine" kitty. She died at home with me on a rainy day in 2021.
Milo was the chewiest cat I've ever met in my life. However, it's nice to know my ordination has his chomp of approval (look right next to my fingers).

* by "give" I mean "award in a huge ceremony after an expensive grad schoool education and several years of internships"
